It’s been nearly a month since our triumphant arrival in Ponce Inlet! Thanks for the positive energy, race reports and constructive notes from so many of you during December. After careful review, and input from race staff, please take a look below at the many significant changes in store for 2023. Starting with a new race date—the second Saturday in December, the 9th—expect greater support, encouragement of uncrewed runners, a new, if small, 4-person relay race, staggered starts and much more. While the 2022 race may be behind us, it is not forgotten.
